Another vendor cuts out the plywood sections using a five-axis router. The boat is finished in a matter of days. One of the most interesting things about Paul Spencer’s 87-footer is that he is a charter-boat captain and boat builder.
A pod-drive system helps to eliminate prop wash. It improves the steering and raises fish as well as inboards. And as proof, Spencer points to his own boat, Betsy.
